The Multicultural Festival of Griffith is an annual event which aims to celebrates diversity through food, music and dance.

Food, arts and crafts stalls, face-painting, henna painting, a spaghetti-eating competition, a jumping castle, balloons and more.

On stage in Memorial Park, there'll be dance and music performances to keep everyone entertained for a fun day of community celebrations. Griffith is home to around 20 different cultural groups and many of them are involved in this community event - Fijians, Samoans, Maoris, Chileans, Italians, Indian, Pilipino, Aboriginal groups and more.

The food stalls at the festival sell fresh cooked foods using local ingredients from the rice in the curries to the pasta and pizza with toppings such as local salami, vegetables and cheeses. Local fruit, ice cream and coffee is available as well.

The cultural diversity in performances and foods make for a happy filled experience.
