Tim McMullen was born and bred in Wagga Wagga where he attended primary school, before heading to Sydney.

Tim spend over 20 years in the travel and incentive industry, before focusing full time on Borambola Wines in 2008.

In 1992 the McMullen Family purchased Borambola Homestead, and in 1995 Tim planted the first grapes and established the vineyard.  Borambola Wines now produce Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties.

In January 2015 Tim moved to Wagga Wagga with a view to further promote and grow the Borambola Wines and Tuckerbox brands in the area.  He became involved with Taste Riverina as he believed there was an opportunity to match locally produced foods and wines.  To further facilitate the love of food and wine, Cork & Fork Fest was launched in October 2015 at Wagga Beach to bring the community together to showcase local food, wine and music.

PS – Tim won a donut eating competition at the age of 12.  And at the age of 54 he hovered up the popcorn at the Junee Liquorice Factory in record time!!
