Venue: Zecca Handmade Italian 239 Banna Ave, Griffith Get Directions

Join us in celebrating Festa della Repubblica - Italian National Day. Like Bastille Day in France and Fourth of July in the USA, Festa della Repubblica commemorates unity and independence, and is an essential part of the Italy's history. It's also a great excuse for a celebration.

Zecca Handmade Italian will treat you to a 3-course, shared-plate meal featuring authentic dishes from different regions of Italy using the freshest local Riverina produce. For dessert, Zecca's famous gelato cart will be wheeled out and include flavours representing the Tricolore – the green, white and red of the Italian flag.

Our special guest speaker, Melina Marchetta, author of Looking for Alibrandi, will entertain us with her anecdotes of growing up in Australia with Italian parents.

And, if you know your Maserati from your Lamborghini and your Da Vinci from your Michelangelo, then you’ll love our Italian-themed trivia. Your table may just even take out the coveted first prize.

Tickets are $80 per person and include 3-course meal, glass of Prosecco on arrival and guest speaker.
